Casey Tibbs had just three yearlings on sale. His highest priced colt sold for R300 000.

Casey Tibbs is never short of a good three year old. His 3yo son Feet of Fire, rated good enough to run in the Investec Cape Derby, picked up his first stakes victory when landing Eastern Cape Guineas.

The Hassan Adams owned gelding gamely held off We Three and D J Detzky to win by a head. Feet of Fire is out of the multiple winner Feet o'Flames, a daughter of Elliodor.

Sports Coupe has proved to be a model of consistency. The son of Casey Tibbs recently scored his sixth career win narrowly defeating King of Eagles over 1800 meters. The two fought out ding dong battle in the closing stages, but Sports Coupe fought on gamely to win a thrilling race. His dam, Corn Dodger, was a useful racemare, who won three races and was third in the Gr3 Diana Stakes.

High Repute broke his maiden impressively recently. The 3yo colt drew off comfortably to beat the beautifully bred Trading Card by 2.5 lengths over 1600 meters at Scottsville. He looks to have the scope to win more races.

Trained by Dennis Bosch, High Repute is out of the stakes winning mare Prestigious.

Captain Al has another great month. The son of Al Mufti was represented by eight individual winners.

The Joey Ramsden trained filly got her career back on track when outclassing her opposition over 1200 meters. Clearly a very smart filly, Possible Dream looks like she has a bright future at a higher level. Her dam, Fort Wood matron Fine Wood, is a winner from the immediate family of champion Roland's Song.

Al's Deputy is another 3yo offspring of Captain Al who posses huge ability.

The colt, trained by Kum Naidoo, recently won, beating older horses, over 2400 meters. . Al's Deputy, who won well over the tough Scottsville 2400 meters, will now be stepped up in class. His dam, Deputy Doll, was a smart juvenile, whose wins included a score in the Hibiscus Stakes and it is hard to know where he gets his stamina from, given all the speed in his pedigree.

Four-year-old filly, Jenna The Pink, has been quite lightly raced.

Nonetheless she is a useful performer, who recently recorded her third career win at Scottsville. Racing over 1000m, she could not have been more impressive, as she waltzed away from the field to win by 4.25 lengths. An ultra consistent filly, Jenna The Pink is out of the Shaamit mare Night Beauty.

Captain's Key is one of numerous Captain Al juveniles to have shown promise.

After running fourth on debut, he duly bolted up next time out, when beating subsequent winner Not Liable by 1.5 lengths. Clearly a smart prospect, Captain's Key looks to be a stakes horse in the making. His dam, Qui Charm, is a daughter of emerging broodmare sire Qui Danzig.

La Dazzle is yet another very smart daughter of Captain Al. She made it back to back wins when defeating Naledi a short head at Durbanville. Sent off favourite in the 15 horse field, La Dazzle prevailed under a good ride from Andrew Fortune. Now a three time winner, La Dazzle's dam, La Intrigue is a full sister to Met winner La Fabulous.
