A half-sister to young Klawervlei sire, Oracy, proved popular at the 2012 Karaka Premier Yearling Sale. A daughter of Keeper, the filly was sold for $225,000 – or over R1.4 million.
Consigned by Cambridge Stud, the filly is out of the G2 winning Dehere mare, Lady Dehere. The latter is not only dam of the brilliant Oracy, but also the multiple stakes winning filly, The Lady.
Oracy’s first foals are on the ground and have been drawing rave reviews. Breeders lucky enough to have some of the first sons and daughters of Oracy, himself an exceptionally talented son of the great Zabeel, are lavish in their praise for the foals.
“Spectacular” and “eye-catching” are just a few of the superlatives which have been used to describe the foals, and Oracy has certainly made a commendable start to his stud career.
