The recently retired King’s Apostle will stand at Klawervlei Stud next season.

The son of English 2000 Guineas winner King’s Best will stand alongside such sires as Captain Al, Casey Tibbs, National Emblem and the mighty Jay Peg.

King’s Apostle, whose granddam and great granddam both won the Gp1 Cheveley Park Stakes, won 7 races including the Gp1 Prix de Maurice de Gheest and Gp2 Diadem Stakes.

He beat such Gr1 winners as Varenar, Serious Attitude, Naaqoos, African Rose and Takeover Target.

His sire, King’s Best (Kingmambo), has sired the likes of Gr1 winners Dubai Surprise, Proclamation and Creachadoir.
